Large Blood Tests

You probably can't do it, so don't even try.

Large Blood Tests

Shorts don't let you start them at specific times? Anyway, skip to 20 seconds and you'll get the joke.

Mid-year retest. I think they do most, but not all of the same panels. Things look better than before. My "biological age" is down to 40.6, so 11 years younger than real, if you believe that.

My LDL (bad) cholesterol is 66. Same as last time. HDL (good) cholesterol up to 42. Nothing very exciting.

Sounds good.

My blood work always come back good, except for uric acid. Having the one kidney doesn't help.

Final blood results in for the mid-year check. Everything solid, better than it was. They flagged my insulin (8 uIU/mL, down from 9.2). Normal is below 18.4, but apparently "great" is < 10, and "optimal" is 3-5. So I guess I should try to get it lower to reduce my possible chance of diabetes? Not really sure how.

I don't think that fits the Google plan.

Maybe google needs a new plan.

Holy crap, drank too much, but quit drinking early enough I feel fine today. I blew a 0.12, and that was way too much for me. I can't imagine we used to let people drive at 0.10. One friend topped out around 0.16, another at .20.

One of my best ever drunken days was at the Fuel Bar in Vegas. It's in front of Wahlburger, which wasn't there at the time. We got there for a BOGO on drinks, had the place packed and bumping (one thing my wife can do is get strangers to party), and we were both passed out before 7 p.m. Slept right through the hangover.

If you ever go there, say hi to Kitty.

I've walked by that area so many times, but never went back to the shops in there.
