Decent episode last night, but troublesome.
The little group he's meeting in Atlanta doesn't exist in the book. Glen does, and so does Andrea (although I don't remember her being in the city), but none of the rest exist in the book. They've all been fabricated for the show.
Decide for yourself what that means for their future...
The group outside Atlanta seems fairly accurate so far.
Anyway, back to Atlanta, a lot of what they're doing so far is to help drag out the TV show. A lot of it is not in the books.
Since season 1 is going to be 6 episodes, I have a hunch the major plot point it will end on will be...well, without spoiling something 4 episodes away...let's just say "someone's death".

The relationship between Officer Friendly's wife and his partner is also not how I remember it. In the book, IIRC, his partner took advantage of his wife's sadness to get her into bed... and it was a one-time thing and she always resented it?
In the movie she obviously wasn't resenting it. Doggy style.
Also, you aren't going to hotwire a modern car with a screwdriver in 15 seconds. Or ever, probably. Need the chip in the key.
