As long as it's a supported feature, and anyone can do it, I won't mind it. If it's still an exploit that only the leet can do, then it will piss me off too. But I do remember the trailer showing rocket jumping. So, TF2 <3 teh leets. But even if you screw up the jump. . . just hit space and try again right away!!
That was always my biggest beef with the game. No consequences of dying. Just rush, spam, repeat.

Otherwise, Sins of a Solar Empire is time sucking in a way that Civ 3 used to be. You just don't want to stop playing it.
