Casting the A-Team - Inspired by Malcolm
Hannibal - Ok, I know this isn't a "perfect" casting, but how about Tom Selleck?
He's into cigars, does action, is a pretty decent actor, has a comedic side, is old enough, and in good enough shape to give Hannibal a more physical side.
If they wanted to go the "sexy" route to sell the film, I honestly think Clooney could do it. Although, he'd probably try to play Hannibal too hip.
The big name route would be Willis.
A dark horse could be the guy that's the lead on CSI. He's got that odd humor down.
Face - This one's kind of tough. If they went big name here they could go so many ways: Pitt, Ferrell, Damon, hell even Affleck or Cruise. Remember Face is just that, a face. He's not a fighter.
The smaller actor who'd be perfect is the guy who plays Sawyer on Lost. He actually looks like the original Face.
A dark horse here would be another CSI actor, the one that plays Nick.
The crazy guy - Steve Buscemi or Quentin Tarrantino. I just think either would be perfect.
B.A. Barrakus - This one I thought about a lot. Ving Rhames would have been my choice 10 years ago, but now I'd have to say Michael Clarke Duncan. He's huge so he'd have the physical intimidation thing. He also has the "teddy bear" image that Mr. T has and he can be funny.

Quentin cant act for shit.
Yeah, but he has the look down.
My A-Team dream team:
Hannibal - George Clooney (a'laThree Kings).
Murdock - Kevin Spacey
Face - Brad Pitt (a'la Ocean's Eleven)
B.A. - The Rock (or Ving Rhames, or Michael Clarke Duncan)
I had them on my list too, although not as my favorites, but I think Clooney and Pitt would suck in the movie together. They've done two films together already in similar roles. Its time for something new.
I do like Spacey as a Murdock, although he may be a bit long in the tooth for it.
And Rock is a good choice for B.A.

Hannibal = Liam Neeson? Uh ... no, this just doesn't feel right. I'd go w\ an old Kurt Russel before I'd go w\ Liam Neeson.

I gotta go w\ Kurt Russell for Hannibal & Tim Roth for Murdock.
Kurt's displayed a Hannibalesque cocky attitude in "Big Trouble in Little China." If he mixes in some Snake Plissken w\ that, he could get close to George Peppard. Roth just has that slightly unhinged about him & he'd be able to make H.M. interesting instead of "that psycho pilot."

Roth is a good choice indeed.
I think Liam Neeson could do Hannibal. He wouldn't be my first choice, that's certain, but he's a good actor with a wide range and I bet he could pull it off. As long as they reign him in a bit and don't let him fall over the edge into parody, that is.

Hannibal is a shoot-from-the-hip, arrogant, almost game show host of a commander. However, as Dizzy Dean said, "It ain't bragging if you can do it." I've seen Liam as a soldier before, but it's always the disciplined, controlled kind (Star Wars, Michael Collins, Taken). While Hannibal doesn't lose his cool, he's also got to have that critical "throw caution to the wind" look about him. Liam could convey the intelligence & I know he's got real acting chops. I just haven't seen him portray the sort of character that the Colonel is.

I didn't watch it because even though the tv show to anyone who wasn't a little kid was probably terrible and cheesy, I'm not ready yet to see how terrible and cheesy this might be.

The end of that trailer is on par with the opening scene of Charlie's Angels 2 in it's willingness to give reality a middle finger.
