Heroes *spoiler thread*
Well in that case; Nathan doesn't have to be dead. Stupid. Should have just shot Peter, quickly take him out to the desert as/before he heals, and get clear while he works out the problems. Take along Claire to babysit him if you're worried, she'll survive anything he does.
And why was everyone so protective of Claire, anyway? Not in terms of protecting her from Sylar, who could hurt her, but just in general? The girl can't be killed, she'll be able to take care of herself in most any situation.
So now that Peter has been near Sylar I assume he can open people's heads, too. I wonder if he also picked up any of Sylar's secondaries, the abilities he got from opening heads?

I assumed that if the bullet flattened and pushed out that part of the brain that inhibits the regeneration that it's game over. They were all talking like the bullet would kill him, so that was what I was assuming.
Might as well kill Nathan. As he stated himself the whole flying thing would be fun, but isn't very interesting story-wise. Might as well kill him.
Everyone is protective of Claire because she's a cute blonde in a cheerleader outfit. Duh! Come on. You'll notice Peter wasn't so worried about her once he realized he was her uncle.
I always assumed the opening heads was done with his telekinesis. Peter showed he had picked up that ability when someone tried to smack him with a pole in an earlier episode and he deflected it with a telepathic shield. Forget who that was, but that was when I realized he'd picked that up from Sylar.
I'd just assumed he'd picked up the secondary abilities, but that's an interesting question.
I wondered why Peter didn't just fly away himself, but as I thought about it I don't recall him ever using more than one power at a time. So maybe while the nuclear generation thing was happening he COULDN'T fly.
My random two cents...

Hmmmm ... as to Peter using two powers at once, that's a good question. I'll have to ponder it carefully. Actually, I may have to rewatch the whole season on DVD looking for that. Sylar used multiple powers many times over, especially in the future episode when he was being Nathan, but I'm not sure if that's something Peter could pickup secondarily or not since their mechanisms are different somehow.
Too bad Peter never got near Lindermann, that healing power would be nice to still have around somewhere.
I noticed they set up next season's villian already in that final episode. Did you catch it? It was reasonably subtle.

Well, two baddies we may see. Sylar again (since the blood trail went off into the sewer), and the "one that won't let me see him" that the girl was talking about.TPRJones wrote:I noticed they set up next season's villian already in that final episode. Did you catch it? It was reasonably subtle.

Oh yeah! That was the deal. For some reason I thought she couldn't see him. She just never looked for him because he could see her when she did.TPRJones wrote:Oh, right, I forgot about the blood trail. I was thinking about that other one, the man worse than Sylar that can see the girl when she looks for him. Sounds nasty.
Sylar may end up being his lackey. Every super villian needs a lackey.

Folks, Nathan and Peter's mom is the other the girl can't see. She's been driving this whole thing. She knew everyone in the organizations even the ones who split off from it. I'm not sure what her power is, but it must be a doozy to keep it secret this long.
The ending with Hiro and the Japanese army looking up at some shadow was ridiculous. If they go with the 'Aliens seeded their DNA into us and caused the mutation', I'm turning off the TV and writing Marvel a poison pen letter.

Wadda mean? Other people can read this?!

Well, season three is off to a very fast start. They aren't dragging their feet this time around.
What is up with Noah not letting Claire help, though? She's the character in the series the least in the need of protection. Even if he doesn't know she can't die, he should at least know it would be very hard for her to be killed. Let her help already.
