Croc

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Apparently, this was a Sci-Fi channel movie, however nothing on the box said that, I just learned it via imdb. They are wise not to advertise that fact as most Sci Fi channel movies are complete ass. I simply thought I was grabbing an indy film.

Anyway, this film is a Jaws rip off in every possible way. Except for being good.

Michael Madsen is in the film as their version of "Quint". Michael Madsen is no Robert Shaw.

The rest of the cast is a bunch of no names whose performances I can't remember. It probably wasn't their fault though as the movie was extremely dull.

The shark, I mean crocodile, did random attacks ala Jaws, but to lesser effect because there were more of them and some were ridiculous.

For example: Imagine if the shark in Jaws had left the ocean, crawled to the mayor's pool, swam around the lit pool unnoticed by the mayor in the water or the people he was talking to out of the water until the mayor was done talking, THEN attacked and killed him, waited for the mayor's right hand man, jumped out of the water to kill him, then crawled back to the ocean.

Throw in the typically bad Sci Fi channel special effects and you get a snore fest of a movie.

1 out of 10.
