As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Adam Sandler stars as a workaholic who wants to spend more time with his family, but feels like he doesn't have enough control of his life to afford it.

This movie is more 50 First Dates than Happy Gilmore.

There are a lot of funny bits, but it actually gets a bit darker towards the end.

Sandler is Sandler, but he never goes overboard with his character here. Instead he tries to be a bit more dramatic, sorta like "Punch Drunk Love", and he does a decent enough job. Nobody's going to hand him an Oscar, but it shouldn't distract you from the storyline.

The supporting cast is the true star of this film. Sandler's wife, his boss (Hasselhoff), his son Ben (the older one), his wife's friend (hilarious in everything she's in), and even the dog all bring the movie up a notch with their performances. You'll see all the typical Sandler bit players too like Rob Sneider.

The other co-star is Christopher Walken. Need I say more? Actually, I do, this movie definitely needed more Walken. Walken is Walken, but his character was poorly written.

The storyline overall is enough to drive the film, but it's been done to death and is very predictible. I really wish they would have taken the film in a different direction and not followed the cliche formula.

To sum up, it's entertaining and you can watch it with the wife and possibly even the kids depending on their age. You won't hate it, but you won't fall in love with it either.

If you do like the concept though, check out "Stay Tuned". An underrated effort staring John Ritter.

6 out of 10 for "Click."

Either is more acceptable than Punch Drunk Love.

Seriously. One of the 10 worst movies I've ever seen.

I've never seen "Punch Drunk Love", but I've heard negative things, which you two are backing up. So I doubt I ever will.

I've enjoyed every Sandler film I've ever seen, but I'd probably rank "Click" at the bottom of the list.

Yeah, how that got either a 7.2 at IMDB or a "Comedy" categorization, I'll never, ever, know.

This really wasn't a very happy movie.

Kind of a remake of a Dickens story, too.

Punch Drunk Love wasn't very enjoyable but the extras with Philip Seymore Hoffman doing the commercial for his mattress business and falling off the car is fucking hilarious.
