An anime claimed to be as good as Akira.
It wasn't.
Essentially, it's about three generations of Steam men (that's their family name) who are all inventors that try and harness the power of, yes, steam.
It's not that the film is bad, it's just that it's boring. Plus, the dialogue is typical of animes in that it only makes sense sporatically and is usually very cheesy.
It is an anime you can watch with a kid though, so there's one good thing about it. I only remember seeing blood twice and neither was gory.
The whole movie is more about the advances of science and how if it goes faster than human kind's maturity then we're all doomed.
