I hope "uppity" didn't factor into that conversation.

Which reminds me... 2 days ago I taught my son the "n-word," so he wouldn't accidentally hear it and repeat it somewhere. He had never heard of it before.

My wife let the kids listen to an audio version of Huck Finn, read by Elijah Wood. Hah. Bet he doesn't have that one on his resume.
