So me and the kid were at an all-day cubscout camp, and there are different stations.... bb-guns, archery, campfire cooking, potato guns, obstacle course, etc.

Well there was also this hippie "confront your greatest fear" station, in which you were supposed to write your greatest fear on a paper bag, think about what you're doing, then pop the paper bag. Fear eliminated! or something.

Anyway, he was trying to think of his "greatest fear," and I chimed in with, "... fear itself?" and this guy running the show said, "Ahhh, Churchill." I said, "No, ahhh, FDR." and he politely disagreed, and I said I was right, he said it at his inauguration, and this guy politely agreed to disagree.

So I pulled out my phone, googled it, showed him, then beat the shit out of him while everyone watched.

Hippies, amirite?

Heh... I give the guy credit for not wanting to attribute a good quote to a progressive douche though.

He also recognized a Doctor Who quote I slipped out when I suggested "Weeping Angels" as a fear. That immediately put me on my guard for some reason.

Now that's an interesting thing to put you on guard.

It suddenly occurred to me that peeps may not know I was exaggerating, I didn't really attack anyone at cub scout camp on Saturday.

I heard a great quote about Dr. Who being shite recently. Wish I had saved it for you peeps.

I heard FDR stole that from somebody. But not Churchill.
