A co-worker just texted me a picture of geese walking through one of our gates and it reminded me of something I haven't shared with you all yet...
My current employer is a chemicals manufacturer, and our entire site is fenced off with gates at the entrances. We work with some hazardous material, but we also do chemical processing for food. Thus, geese who fly in to eat our grass and float in our pond are a problem for health reasons.
Keeping them out is a prior for some of the staff here, and various measures are taken to ensure they don't like it here.
Anyway, a former accounting employee, who was in our "lunch crew", could not figure out how these geese kept getting into our facility. Yes, it was his belief that they were coming in when the gates were open...
