That's why I couldn't watch the original.
Seriusly, MACRS, ALWAYS MACRS. Ugh.Great movie, but I couldn’t get past the scene where he tracks illegal funds using straight-line depreciation when they clearly should have used accelerated depreciation under MACRS. Absolutely ruined the immersion for me.

It was good enough, gf and I liked it.
In the first movie I felt like Ben played an autist straight... and in doing so sometimes had some amusing moments.
In this movie I felt like they were trying harder for humor, and that isn't as good.
Even so, there are plenty of LOL moments, and it's got enough ultra-violence sprinkled in to even satisfy the natural aggressiveness of a United States Marine.

As Gordon said, it was fine, and you could absolutely see them trying to hard to land jokes.
The first was much better, but this was entertaining, although ultimately forgettable.
