Billed as a comedy horror, but I'm 48 minutes into a 1 hour and 22 minute run time and the only thing remotely horror was some dripping blood implying off camera violence. FYI, the first actual horror just took place at 1 hour and 1 minute.
A woman is left at the altar and is having trouble dealing with it. Everyone is telling her to get laid to help get over her guy. She finally gets up the nerve to bring home someone to bang and nothing goes right.
Jennifer June Ross is the star and she's adorable. She's got a Wynonna Ryder thing going on that I dig. Mostly though, her personality seems awesome and it really comes through in this role. Alas, her career seems to be over as the last thing listed in her IMDB is from 2017.
This is an interesting film because it clearly doesn't know whether it's supposed to be funny or serious. Nothing is resolved with the "horror" part by the end, at least nothing we're shown. Still, it has a certain charm because of Ms. Ross and the different men in her life. Michael Uribes and Ben Huber are especially perfect.
I really enjoyed the non horror parts, but that last 20 minutes just didn't belong in this movie.
