Can we kill the space dementia genre? It fucking sucks. It's rarely, if ever, done well. Not that this movie is all about that, but it's featured extremely heavily in this film.
Omar Epps leads a crew of 4 on a 10 year mission aboard a space station that exists to relay people and supplies between Earth and our colony on Europa. An unknown event occurs, coincidentally exactly when the doctor decides the mission can't continue due to space dementia, and the crew not being able to figure it out is a hilariously massive plot hole. From there it continues to be about space dementia and survival.
If you're wondering, the science sucks. They almost completely ignore that they're in space, and you won't see potatoes being grown. Despite supplies being a major plot point, they are never shown being used or even being an issue.
It's shit.
