Mark Wahlberg is a cop thrown in prison for beating up another cop and superior officer. Upon being released that cop ends up dead and Wahlberg can't walk away. He starts investigating the cop's murder dragging along his roommate, landlord(?), and ex-girlfriend.
Alan Arkin is the halfway house boss and Iliza Shlesinger is the ex-girlfriend. Iliza legit steals every scene she's in, she's hilarious and sexy as fuck. Winston Duke does a great job as Hawk, Wahlberg's roommate and fellow ex-con.
Fun movie despite being a bit ridiculous. I look forward to a sequel.
