A young Native American girl is found dead by a local tracker/hunter, Jeremy Renner. The FBI sends in a raw recruit, Elizabeth Olsen, to assess the situation.
Graham Greene plays the local law. He played the same role many, many moons ago in the excellent Thunderheart. In fact, one could say this was either a sequel to that movie or an homage. If you've never seen it, do so.
There's a nice cameo later in the film by another pretty well known actor.
The acting is outstanding throughout. Top to bottom. This is Renner's best performance. Ditto for Olsen.
