Any of you that sell your old games tried Goozex?l
I been using this trading site called goozex. So far I like it. Each game has a point value and if you send a game to someone you get those points which you can use to get games from someone else.
You also need to buy trade credits from goozex which is how they make their money. So if you have enough points and a trade credit you get the game.
Each person pays the postage to send the game to someone else.
I was leery at first so I picked a couple of low value games that were going to sell anywhere else and sent them out. So far everything has worked well. I have sent out 9 games and 3 have been sent to me.
I like it better then the $15 you get from ebgames who then turn around and sell the game for $40 and so far I like it better then ebay.
You make a list of games you want to get and send out and when the requirements are met the site lets you know.
If anyone is interested let me know because I can refer you and get a bonus.

I would suggest getting a tracking number or some sort of confirmation when you send the game out. I had one person put in the wrong address and the game was sent back to me and they gave me negative feedback saying I never sent the game. I sent the tracking number to goozex and they gave me the points for sending the game and I was able to get more points from someone else later when I sent the game to them.
Madden 09 is around 900 pts and Tiger Woods 08 is 700 for the 360 I believe. So the points you get for GH3 would definitely get you one of them.
Of course older ones are even lower in points.

5 people have it but aren't willing to trade it yet. They have it on hold. There are also 4 people who want it. It would cost 900 points so that would be less then the $100 on ebay.GORDON wrote:Hey, someone see if they can get Starfleet Command III.
I lost one of my disks and they are used on amazon for over $100.
My guess is you would be waiting a while for it.
So, let me get this straight. I could trade my GH3 disc right now for Madden 09 or NCAA Football 09?

Actually I didn't notice this before but there are two different ways to trade guitar hero III. There is game only and game and guitar.Leisher wrote:So, let me get this straight. I could trade my GH3 disc right now for Madden 09 or NCAA Football 09?
1000 points for GH3 you need to also send the guitar. The disc only part means game that is missing case and manual. Catt might want to check that out before you send it. On the site for just the game I am seeing 600 pts for GH3. Saying disc only is confusing when in comes to games with peripherals.
GH3 no guitar 600pts
GH3 with guitar 1000 pts.
NCAA 09 for the 360 is 1000 pts right now and Madden 09 is 950. So GH3 plus 100pts for joining would still be a bit short.
I've got approximately 94 billion older PC games. Do peeps trade those there?

Yeah, I want the older versions of Madden, so fewer points.WSGrundy wrote:I would suggest getting a tracking number or some sort of confirmation when you send the game out. Ah, didn't realize about the game. I sent the cancel and relisted as game only. I figured "accessories" meant the guitar too.
It's not me, it's someone else.
Here's what I don't like about the site. There is no market clearing value for the games. Instead, there are pre-determined values (points) for which the games trade. However, clearly the point values are not entirely perfect, else people would be able to get the games more quickly.
People should be able to offer their games for whatever # of points they want, and offer whatever # of points they want for a game.

It seems like the value of the games is tied too much to the current cost in the stores.TheCatt wrote:Here's what I don't like about the site. There is no market clearing value for the games. There are probably 100 copies of GTAIV that people want to trade away but no one is willing to give up 1000 points for it so it should be dropping in price.
Better yet would be what you suggested. Don't think it would be any more difficult to work out.
