G.I. Joe versus the Transformers?
I have no recollection of the show "M.A.S.K."
G.I. Joe 3
G.I. Joe reminds me a lot of World War Z. It's a property that could be told so well if the right people got a hold of it, but instead it's mediocre and has little to do with the original material.
It would be better served as a TV show than a movie.
Back in the 80s, Larry Hama was writing the Marvel series and it was awesome. Way ahead of its time, and it included one of my favorite issues of anything ever.
The movie series has been completely destroyed due to a lack of confidence, poor writing, poor direction, and no respect for the source material. That first movie was like a time warp back to the 80s, and not because they were tapping into my childhood, it was like they were making a movie from back then.

“Activism is a way for useless people to feel important, even if the consequences of their activism are counterproductive for those they claim to be helping and damaging to the fabric of society as a whole.” - Dr Thomas Sowell
I wasn't too worried about the source material for these movies because I'm too old to consider the little action figures as real GI Joes. I had one of the originals with the buzz cut hair and all.
You know, the doll.
I did have the big yellow helicopter for him which was awesome.
