That Awkward Moment

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

A friend told me to watch this movie because they stole my method for getting rid of women when I was Zac Efron's age. He was right.

The story here is three guys: Efron, Michael B. Jordan, and Miles Teller (who is apparently in every film with Michael B. Jordan) agree to just fuck women, but not get into serious relationships. As I'm sure you can guess, life happens.

This is the sort of movie that makes Malcolm want to cut his wrists.

It's not terrible, but it's not a classic. It's a well done movie that the cast clearly had fun making. It has some good lines, and some dumb ones.

Efron is another mystery to me, like Jason Patrick. Efron's a good looking kid, in great shape, and can act, so why doesn't he get more work? He's also got a weird vibe. He's very much riding the fence of "I want to punch him" and "I can relate to him".

Imogen Poots is his love interest and aside from having an awesome name she's also invented a new look for me: "Messy hot". I have no photos to prove my point here, but trust me, she's a mess for most of the film, and it works. There are moments where she looks like she was designed by Picasso. Seriously! Her mouth looks rectangular.

Lots of good looking women throughout, but no nudity.

Again, not bad, not great.
