RED - At 'Dem Flicks with Malcolm

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Synopsis:
Bruce Willis plays the retired CIA version of John McClane. If there weren't a graphic novel for this, I'd swear it was pitched as "The Expendables, but geriatric and PG-13."

Review:
Bruce and a fuckload of CIA/MI-6/KGB retirees suddenly find people trying to kill them. He drags along Mary Louise Parker because otherwise the script loses 50% of its comedic value. Make no mistake, this is primarily an action flick but some fucking idiot writer felt the need to work in some relationship humour. Fuck that dude because he leans on it like it's his only crutch in the world.

You'll recognize goddamn near everyone in this movie. Ernest Borgnine even gets in a couple cameos.

Verdict:
Worth renting for $1. Maybe.

I remember that I only saw the first half of this DVD because then my date crawled onto my lap half way through.
I think John Malcovich had a teddy bear. Then I had better things to do.

It was a pig. To hide his grenade launcher.
