A dark rom-com about a serial killer that wins the lottery and marries the girl of his dreams.
The acting is pretty solid by all involved, and the story is just decent enough to immerse you. You'll see all twists coming, but how they get there and how they respond is fun.
It stars Tom Hanks' kid (not the rapper and Jeffery Tambor stops in for a few scenes.
Decent film.
Lucky - Yay Netflix!
I haven't watched Dexter since the John Lithgow season. I'd say the only thing they have in common is the serial killing (although Dexter is far more violent and graphic) and social awkwardness.
Don't come here for the killing though, there isn't much at all. The story is about the relationship. In fact, Colin Hanks gets top billing, but I'd say this movie is really about the girl.
It just occurred to me that one could make the argument that the whole film is a scathing attack on women. They are not portrayed well at all.
