Kevin James is damn close to being a midget and is marrying Ice Cube's sister. Ice Cube is a bad ass cop. Kevin James wants to be a cop and plays video games.
This movie is ok.
The story is very, very, very predictable and shallow.
Cube and James are a perfect old school straight man/funny man combo and really the film is about their interaction. Everything else is filler.
As far as buddy cop films go, this wouldn't be near the top. It's too bad because Cube and James have a good chemistry, but I think they were wasted with a bad script.
Pretty cool unannounced cameo later in the film. It really speaks to the fun they had on set. You can tell this person was having a ball.
Worth watching one time for free (I saw it on HBO Go), but not a movie you'll remember.
