I have not researched a trade ship as I didn't see it as something we would pursue. There's no way we could protect 20 trade packs out there! But, if there is some other big guild that wants to help make it happen, then, I'll give it a go.
Scooty has grand plans of working with a guy who created the new guild and building an empire. If that all works out, then cool. We can ride along on some pretty big adventures. But his plan right now is to work with that guy to get his Cutter built. Cutters hold 4 trade packs and they have two Cutters (rather, WILL, when Scooty gets his). 4 GS x 8 trade packs per trip means 32 GS per trip, plus any we carry manually. So, in ideal conditions, it wouldn't take long to get the 300 or whatever GS needed for the ship. Then, with a trade ship loaded with trade packs. . . we can have anything we want in a matter of hours! But, baby steps. We'll see what him and his new guild mate can pull together.
In other news. Hit 8k Alchemy last night. Having a large pool of gold to buy materials with has really sped things up. Should have 10k and the next level of potions this weekend.
I'll be on around 9. I want to work carpentry, mainly bows. However, if anyone needs storage chests maybe I can make those now?
I think we should spent this weekend hitting certain monster spawns as a group. Or dungeons. We also need to get everyone to 50.

For you Aqua farmers. If you are growing Antler, Red or Green coral, let me know. I can turn that into Pigment/Oil/Polish that is used in higher level armors.
Leisher, are you going to be doing Handicraft as well by any chance? You need that to make storage chests. 20k proficiency for the really good ones (20 storage slots instead of 10).
I'm not interested in Handicraft at the moment. I'm going to focus mining and carpentry mainly. Just shy of 5k carpentry and just shy of 4k mining.

Bottom right, click the sickle icon and select trade. You can search for the item you crafted, and where you want to turn it in. It will tell you the current percentage that it's paying. So, you can know if there's an 80% or 103% payout before making the trip.
I'm beginning to question the validity of the auction house.
The Buy Now feature is fine. The problem is in bidding.
I've been outbid multiple times at the last second.
The last auction I used a stopwatch when it showed less than a minute left. I was outbid with 1 second remaining even though there were no other bids up until that moment.
I've got other auctions coming up and I'm going to do the same to them.
UPDATE: Just did a second auction this way. Same thing. This time I wasn't bidding, but a massive bid came in with 1 second left.
Granted it could be other folks doing the same thing, but it could also be something shadier.

Looks like the thunderstruck bubble is about to burst. Of the 15 listings, 5 of them expire in the next hour. 3 of them in 2 hours. All of them are in the 239-240 range. No one is buying them at that price. Will be interesting to see what all these people relist them at.

I don't think the burst happened. I looked and there are very few listings and they're all high priced.
On that note, I need one to build my own cart. How many packs can you transport at once when you use that cart? I know you can stick two in back, but can you also have one on while you drive?
And how did Scooty's farm do? I walked up the night after he planted and saw it was gone. Did someone dig it all up? Did he move it?
I have a secret farm of my own out there that someone found, but only because I was there all night galloping into a mountain. I assume they heard me and came in to investigate. He/she only stole 2-3 trees. I don't think they even knew the rest were there.
What I did was find a really dense patch of vegetation in an out of the way spot next to a mountain. I went inside and planted my pines there. I know I planted 20 of them and it's hard for even me to see them, so I'd hope it'd be hard for anyone else. If this works out, I'll continue doing this, and thus, increasing my TS tree lottery chances.

So that area that Arena in Two Crowns isn't the right one? i have never tried to get in there so i'm not sure what that is then.
Nope. Unless I'm missing something. Although, since it's PvP, you'd think there would be a lot of people standing outside of it if it was the right place.
There are a few quest lines that run through there, but I got those back when I was level 38 or something. You never actually fight in there.
I don't think I want to go to it right now anyway. Just saw a thread in their forums showing that people fighting in there are ridiculously equipped.

bought some of those potions that let you breath under water for 45 minutes the other day and then was bored last night. So I took one and left the docks in Solz. Random swimming through that bay netted me one free trade pack that I turned in for Salt. Then left again looking for bugs. Found some, and another trade pack. All while swimming under water. Many boats drove over above me. Never saw me, or bothered with me.
