Figured I'd maintain our trend of sports topics being under "General"...although I'm being generous calling NASCAR a sport.
Anyway, guy dies at race and people are shocked?
This is apparently a big deal because the driver is a big name in NASCAR. What I don't get is why people are talking criminal charges? The victim got out of his car and approached the race track DURING THE RACE.
Pro Tip: If you're in an area where cars are going by at high speed try to stay in your car until help arrives. Or, and stay with me here, try not to get closer to them...
It's horrible what happened, but fuck the MSM and their constant need to invent drama.
NASCAR

Here's the video of the incident:

Yep. Clearly Tony Stewart forced this guy out of his car, on a race track, during a race. He then used his mind control to make the guy approach the fast moving cars that are traveling on mud. He then made the guy jump out even closer to his car and do so in a blind spot created by the car in front of him.
Genius.
And how is this any different from the other accidents that cause deaths on a race track?

I'm sure that will be brought up during the inevitable civil suit.Malcolm wrote:Tony's got a history of bad temper tantrums.

Now I'm seeing more reports from drivers who think he might have been trying to rooster tail Ward and cover him with mud, but miscalculated.
Maybe they will slap some charges on him?
