8 actors with diminishing returns.

I'm sure a lot of debate could be had on the "whys".

My guesses:
Cruise - Scientology.
Crowe - Asshole.
Clooney - Smug. Politics.
Farrell - I'm going with bad career choices.
Sandler - Aging audience. "Safe" movies.
Depp - Weird movies.
Vaughn - No range.
Damon - Politics.
