At 3 Catholic high schools in Ohio.

Not just athletes, but ALL students.

So, these aren't just students, but minors.

"I think it's a good policy doing all students," said Frank Geib, a Junior at St. Edward's.

Good to know our private schools are preparing the future leaders of the world to take it up the ass from authority figures and submit to all their demands unquestioningly. It'll make it easier for the NSA, FBI, DHS, and every other gov't agency to abuse their rights later in life.

"Empowering students who inevitably in high school face peer pressure to have an out to say no. If someone offers them something, to be able to say 'hey, I'm cool but, you know, I'm going to be tested at school," said KC McKenna, VP of Marketing and Admissions at St. Edward's.

That may be the worst excuse I've ever heard. "Hey kids, put off on developing a spine and holding your own opinion in front of others. Pass the buck and blame to someone else."

Remember Frank Geib, the junior from above? Apparently they couldn't find too many other students in favour of this proposal, so they make up a second Frank Geib...
"I'm not opposed to it. I think it's a good idea. Keeps the kids safe. A lot of good things will come from it," said Frank Geib, a senior.

This one's a senior, though.

Pretty sure I'd purposely spill my piss cup on the nearest school admin at any opportunity, or either version of Frank that I meet.

I like that they are doing hair samples instead of urine.

The school admins are going to be surprised by the number of parents that don't care their kids do drugs and may even do them with them.

School admin: We'd like to inform you that your child tested positive for THC, Oxy and Codine.
Parent: So?

They threatened to do that at my high school. A number of students responded by showing up completely shaven.

I'd offer them pubes... then when they go to collect... they find me shaven there, too, so I will offer them ass crack hair.

Not sure how I am going to respond if this ever hits my kid when he is in school.

Being a parent who did NOT want his kid on drugs, I always felt the schools didn't do enough to protect my kid. When the school doesn't enforce the same rules, or provide the same level of protection that I provide, then, that pisses me off. I never liked having to send my kid to an unprotected building where people were allowed to try influence my kid in ways I didn't want them to, and there was nothing I could do about. The 'Gun Free Zone' and 'Drug Free Zone' signs just weren't getting the job done. Both of those things make it into schools, amazingly enough. I mean, there are signs. How does that happen?

I would have supported drug tests and I would have supported punishment/prosecution instead of 'just so you know'. Because, again, too many parents don't care. But I do. So keep that shit away from my kid while he's in your care just like I do when he's in mine.

I would support locker searches as well.

Claim that your religion either forbids urine/blood/sweat testing for drugs or that your religion frequently involves sacred ceremonies which involve drugs.
