Unfortunately, that was the game I compared this one to to Cakedaddy.TheCatt wrote:I can't trust Troy ever since he recommended that this game.
"It's like Haven and Hearth in 3d with guns and zombies."
A thread on this should include that people will kill you and take your stuff for no reason at all, constantly.
7 Days to Die will also fall into this category of game.
I do somewhat agree with Gordo's point. If we go into this genre, we need to pick one.

Was attacked while gathering food near my mountain cabin. Dude was wielding a close range shotgun, and was persistent in trying to kill me. He winged shots at me as I ran home. I managed to get a recipe for a large medkit, and good thing I had a few on me or I would have bled to death on the way.
I only had a pistol and my gathering gear and harvested loot. (I've learned to keep anything in excess in my base)
Make it back to base. I hear him outside, just kind of whacking my base randomly with a hatchet (it's immune to melee so no big deal)
I had just built my first automatic weapon, and had found some armor so I said screw it, switched my gear and prepared to engage.
Jump out, land a bunch of solid hits and then totally held the trigger down too long and found myself pointing at the sky. Fuck, that was a mistake. In the end I lose the fight because I had no idea how to use an automatic weapon in combat.
Good times.

Moving to a new engine.
That'll slow development to a crawl. Although, based on what they're fixing, it sounds like they needed this upgrade.
