Riddick 3 - Formerly: "Riddick sequel"

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

I wonder if the unrated version, they linger longer. The camera was on the 4 chicks in bed for a loooong time.... you could see the chick in front hadn't shaved in about 24 hours. There was even a dimple.

Second watch: Riddick has Johns riding bitch on his bike and Riddick is smirking.

Are there any pictures of Vin Diesel out with hot Hollywood starlets?

Did a little googling because the sound of my gadar going off when I see him was so loud it is distracting....

there are rumors that he is bi, but he has denied being gay several times and has a couple kids with some chick and says he will not date starlets because that is asking for trouble.

I'll say he's managed to stay below the radar. Can't think of any major scandals or stories he's been in.

I'd also forgotten he was a huge D&D nerd. The googling reminded me of that.

The interactive map: according to the extended edition of the last movie, the map is wrong. Vakko DID NOT deceive Riddick by having him taken to the unidentified planet when he thought he was gong to Furya. The necro with the fucked up face went against Vakko's orders to take Riddick to Furya, and took him to that fucked up planet instead. All that comes out in the last 60 seconds, or so, of the extended edition.

Well that makes a bit of a fucking difference. Krone was his name.

Meh.

VERY boring and slow opening. Someone explain the steps and how they were the only link to the other side of the planet. That seemed really stupid.

Beyond that, the whole film seemed to be an attempt to catch the magic that was the first film. They failed.

While it is entertaining, and not a terrible movie, Pitch Black is still the best entry in the series. Although I liked this one much better than the second one.

Hell, I thought the "A boy and his dog" was the best part of the movie. Just Riddick doing his thing on Angry Planet.

The stair steps up? I dunno. Just the only path up the escarpment that he saw. Sure, maybe he could skirt the monster in the pool before the steps, just climb up the cliff, but do you know why he didn't? Because fuck that monster, that's why. He was on a "cleanse" anyway, to get back his "animal side," and get his mind right, so that's what he chose to do.

This flick is... what... 10 years since the previous one? There's a whole new set of young men out there who maybe haven't seen these flicks. This one felt a lot like resetting the franchise. Not rebooting, just getting it back on its feet. I like that we didn't go directly into 2 hours of Necro politics.

Those young men should just rent Pitch Black.

Not that I hated this film, but it wasn't up the level of the original.

And let's never speak of that second film.

I marathoned them all recently... I still like them all. Each is different from the previous, but I don't mind that. Just lots of peeps shitting themselves because Riddick is on the same planet as them.

There's a Necro walking around with a knife sticking out of his back because he got stabbed 3 years ago and he wanted to show how much of a badass he was by never removing the knife.

That's not being a badass. That's being a retard.
