You're Next - Yay! Netflix

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Decent review

I'm intrigued by this movie. Might try to sneak out some afternoon to see it.

Love how the review mentions how Cabin in the Woods has changed everything.

That's enough for me not to read it.

You do realize that you've never said anything positive about anything? It's just scales of hatred.

Bullshit. I have posted at least a couple positive beer reviews here.

The marketing campaign for this movie was solid. It was just vague enough to hide what this movie is really all about.

That's all I'll say without spoiling it, but if you're paying attention you'll probably have an educated guess by scene two.

It's alright. Pretty standard horror flick. Cool kills. Dumb victims. Some tits. There's also the obligatory, "the military is evil" moment.

If you like horror, it's worth seeing. Although, the plot isn't new.

I sorta had it figured out from random things I'd seen said about it, mainly "the twist!" type stuff.... but I felt it was inconsistent.

Spoilers follow

So one second she is a badass that will rush a bad guy with the intent to bash his brains in, and the next second (out in the woods) she is running from the guy who just missed with the crossbow and will need about 20 seconds to reload it and she has a weapon near her hand? Seems she was inconsistently badass.

Also, why'd the dude turn off the cell phone jammer?

Also, it is rare that I can figure out everyone who is a bad guy from the first 5 minutes of a movie. It was still fun to watch.

This is a movie I've grown to hate more and more the farther I get from having seen it.

It's still worth seeing for a horror fan, but fuck is that plot bad.

Yeah, it isn't the most brilliant thing I have ever seen.... but it wasn't the worst, either. Better than average, i would say. C+.
