Funny.

But I don't get the problem, I've spent my whole life reading while walking and have never even once bumped into anyone or stepped into the wrong place while doing so. Texting while walking is no more difficult. How can so many people find it hard to do? Do they just have no peripheral vision at all? No ability to multitask?

1) It's at least different, if not harder. It's the difference between listening to someone talk and having to talk yourself. Christ forbid you try to do both at once, like a phone call.

2) People are idiots. People fuck up anything and everything because humanity has chosen to engage in an eternal struggle with natural selection.
