Schulke refused to call the unintended weapon firings accidents, saying some SWAT team members showed less proficiency at gun safety “than a teenager coming out of a hunter’s safety class.”
This reminds me of the scene in Die Hard when that SWAT member is sneaking up on the Nakatomi(sp?) building and pricks himself on a rose thorn. He stands up out of cover, exposes their position, and says, "Ow" while looking at his "injury".
I've detailed how folks get hired into becoming cops haven't I? (And get promoted?)
It's honestly tragic that the general public doesn't care that their public servants are being hired based on quotas and not qualifications.
So what if that firefighter can't carry you to safety in a life threatening situation? We needed a woman on the force for political correctness!!!
If our police were ALL former military who got an additional 4 years of training after leaving the service just to take a role as a cop, I still would think the citizens of this country should be allowed to arm themselves.
