After authorities in Ohio made the decision to shoot dozens of exotic animals on the loose after escaping their owner's property, a prominent animal welfare organization and wildlife conservationist are stepping up to defend the move.
"Be bold, and mighty forces will come to your aid."
Heard an interview. They only shot the ones trying to leave the property. They didn't just go in shooting everything that moved. Local vets tried to tranquilize some, but didn't have what it took and ended up being charged, or making the animals run for the borders.
At least in this case, the human that caused all the pain to the animals isn't alive to do it again. Even if by his own hands.
