Horseshit list.

Any list that doesn't have Cleveland at #1 is bullshit. Putting them at #8 makes one wonder if the article isn't a prank.

No city is more miserable or has had worse luck than Cleveland. I say that as someone who hates Cleveland sports teams.

I mean look at their list:
1. Seattle - Has made it to a Super Bowl. Yes, they lost their NBA team, but that team sucked, and it didn't leave because the fans supported it...
2. Atlanta - They have the Braves who have been perennial contenders since 1992. The won 14 straight division titles and a World Series. They have a good NBA team. Their football team is also pretty damn good and has played in a Super Bowl.
3. Phoenix - The Suns have been perennial contenders in the NBA. Arizona just played in a Super Bowl. The Diamondbacks have won a recent World Series.
4. Buffalo - Went to 4 straight Super Bowls. Lost one of them by a last second kick.
5. San Diego - The Chargers are contenders and have been to a Super Bowl. Their baseball team is a contender too and has won at least one World Series.

Meanwhile, there's Cleveland. The weather sucks, the economy is horrible, the fucking river caught on fire, the NFL team was moved away in the middle of the night, the Braves beat them in the World Series 1-0, the next year when they were picked to win it all MLB went on strike, now they're a Yankees farm club, they have never been to a Super Bowl thanks to John Elway, they're in the same division as Pittsburgh, if Pittsburgh sucks that year they have to deal with Baltimore who happen to be the old Browns, The Drive, The Fumble, LeBron and his ego stroking The Decision, Michael Jordan single handedly beating them in the conference finals, The Spurs pounding them in the Finals with LeQuitter, etc.

Being a Cleveland fan is about hating yourself so much that you want to commit suicide, and you would if not for this little flicker of hope and optimism that it'll all get better somehow, someway. There's always next year.
