I hate how it has all those fins. What is it, Godzilla?

It'd be more believable without the fins.

Out of every single bit of amateur footage of any sea/river/lake monster I've ever seen, there's exactly one which I would say genuinely showed a critter that completely stumped every single mainstream zoologist they tried asking about it. The only realistic possibility involved some extant creature having a particular body part mangled in just the right way so as to render its appearance unique among its species without being fatal.
