Spoilers because you're not going to see it anyway...
Steve Austin is confused about his identity, while Jo from Eureka is trying to help him remember. Meanwhile, drug dealers and the FBI are out to get him first.
This film is confused about itself.
It opens with Austin fighting a SWAT team all by himself in a dark alley. They're shooting at him, so you figure he must have done something bad.
Then he's smuggling and is nabbed by Mexican cops that he kills.
Soon, he's throwing FBI guys through second floor windows and shooting at them with automatic weapons.
Luckily, he didn't kill any FBI guys or SWAT team members. Why? Because as it turns out, he's a good guy and is an undercover FBI agent himself. It's just that he's suffering from amnesia due to a traumatic event. Those Mexican cops he killed? They were dirty and really bad guys, so it's ok that he killed them.
As you can tell, just a very bad film. Poorly written, directed, acted, shot, and edited. What's worse is that it just drags on and on for no reason.
A terrible film and they actually set it up as if there would be a sequel or even a series of films.

I actually like Steve Austin in the roles I've seen him play. I found him really likable in that internet-deathmatch-on-the-island movie.
In The Expendables he really had no character, he was just muscle. That was a waste. Maybe he came off as too likable.

I liked him in that deathmatch island movie too. I also liked him in The Expendables, but he was a wasted character. What they should have done with him is allow him to live and escape. Then in the sequel he could have shown up as someone The Expendables needed to hire. He could have shown a lot more personality at that point.
Here he's too limited by bad dialogue and a weak character. I honestly think he was poorly cast in this film. He needs to be a poor man's Arnold, cracking one liners and such. This movie feels more like a Van-Damme-after-he-fell-off-the-radar role.
