Another Uwe Boll film.
Remember when he made Postal into a comedy? This is Postal without the humor...but with a twist.
Some kid with no job, life, or aspirations decides the best way to help people is to kill them. There's your story. Almost. No spoilers so I can't go into detail more than that, but this is a smarter movie than you'd imagine from a Uwe Boll film.
Truthfully, the worst thing I can say about the film is that Boll decided to ad in foreshadowing with footage from further into the film, which was stupid. Also, some of the dialogue was pretty hollow and unrealistic. For example, the entire Chicken Den scene was really forced.
Probably not worth a full rental fee right now, but absolutely worth a dollar rack rental.
Quite honestly, for what it was, it's not a bad movie. I'm not kidding when I say that with a few dialogue re-writes, a better fleshing out of the characters, and the dumping of the flash forward horseshit, I'd rate this movie 2 points higher.
As it is...
6 out of 10.
Rampage
No matter how un-shitty his films may be now, he should never be forgiven for how shitty his earlier films were, on purpose.
Actually, I think only Postal qualifies as "on purpose".
Wasn't Rampage the game where you played Godzilla and torn down cities?
A Godzilla ripoff, King Kong ripoff, and a werewolf.
