Confessions of a Super Hero

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

A documentary about the characters who pose for tourist pictures outside Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

The film focuses and four of them in particular. I forget their real names, but Superman, Batman, Hulk, and Wonder Woman are the characters.

The Hulk is the least interesting, except for him representing the true Hollywood dream.

Wonder Woman is next in the interesting category, but only because of her marriage and her history as a beauty queen.

By far, the most interesting people are Superman and Batman.

Superman seems almost as goodie two shoes as Superman, but there's a hint of sleeze there that can't be ignored. The man is obsessed with the man of steel in a big, big way. He's also probably the most famous of all the characters.

Batman is a whole different story. I really don't know if he's crazy, putting everyone on, or a criminal.

The filmmakers do show contradictions in statements made by their subjects, but also show them as human and decent. There's no bias either way in saying they're bad people or good people. So kudos for that.

Overall, this is an interesting look at the lives of Hollywood hopefuls. Nothing you should run out and grab, but worth putting in your Netflix queue.

7 out of 10.

Jimmy Kimmel uses a lot of those people in his skits, as they are across the street from his studio.

He uses Superman quite a bit.

The craziest seems to be Chewbacca.
