So, apparently Rev. Phelps (best known for his Christian-love-preaching of "God hates fags") has people rallying at military funerals, as he "believes American deaths in Iraq are divine punishment for a country that he says harbors homosexuals. "

His protesters carry signs thanking God for so-called IEDs -- explosives that are a major killer of soldiers in Iraq.

These bikers show up to the funerals to counter-protest, and drown out the protesters with patriotic cheering.

It's a crazy world.

Kudos to the bikers.

Protesting funerals ought to be grounds for fireing into the crowd. Nobody needs that shit at a funeral. This isn't a matter of 1st Amendment, its a matter of compassion. I would hope that each individual would have enough compassion and empathy. These folks must be lemmings. Now how to lead them off a cliff. hmmmm.

Well, given their views on various topics, it looks like they almost completely ignore the New Testament in favor of the Old Testament.

In other words, they're really Jews for Jesus, they just don't know it.

I think the Rev's got a bit too much spare time if he's marching on that shit. We should chip in to have Richard Simmons shoot his next video right outside the Westboro Baptist Church's compound/fort/place of worship/site of future federal stand-off.
