This movie came out in the glut of all of those other "fantasy" flicks, most which can be summed up as "child learns they have a special destiny."

Well, this one is sort of like that too, but unlike all the other ones I saw, this one, surprisingly, didn't suck.

In fact, I think it was quite good.

Finished it 10 minutes ago, and I'm still surprised it wasn't horrible.

I think I'll be picking up the BluRay.

Watched it last night for the 4th time with some friends who hadn't seen it.

It holds up to repeated viewings.

If for some reason you are tired of waiting for the American release on Blu Ray, it has already been released in England, and it is region free. Tested it on my PS3 earlier today. Was less than $20 even after overseas shipping.
