EDIT - This spoiler thread was started when I was watching season 6 of Buffy. Don't read this until you get there. Further spoiler alerts follow. Also Angel season 4, since they are tied together.

I know it's dumb to have a spoiler thread years after they aired, but some peeps in here are just starting to watch, soooo....
Currently the wife and I are alternating disks between Angel and Buffy, in order to keep the timeline straight. We watched disk 1 of Buffy season 6, then disk 1 of angel season... 4? Because there was crossover between the two serieses, it is easier this way in order to keep things straight.
Anyway, to my point: the last episode we watched on the buffy disk, buffy and tara got shot and are there dying, and Willow's eyes went all fuck off-magical. But that was the end of the disk, so we have to move on to angel...
We watched the first two episodes on the disk, and the last thing we just saw was angel trying to kill wesley who had his throat cut, because wes took conner...
Holy shit, darkest season since Angelus back in season 2 of Buffy. Plus cliffhangers galore.

Angel/Buffy Spoiler thread
Season 2 spoiler.
My fondest Buffy memory...
My wife was really into the show. I was not, but I watched it with her. She was touched on some euber-emotional level when Buffy and Angel made sweet sweet love.
Afterward Angel got up and hunched over in pain. I jump up and exclaimed that Buffy had given him an STD!
The look of hate from my wife warmed my soul.
Then I said, "Seriously though. If he wanted to avoid pure happiness he should have worn a condom."
I think she threw something at me after that.

Angel Late season 4 spoiler:
Cordy just gave birth to Zoe (or as my wife put it, Cordy had a black baby).
Conner is the most annoying character since cousin Oliver... that being said, the writers did an amazing job making him seem like a real teenager. Easily manipulated, whiny, self centered, and extremely stupid. I hope he is written out of the show before season 5.
