The Whitest Kids U Know - Season 1

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Hil-fucking-larious.

A sketch show featuring a comedy troupe in the same vein as Monty Python or The Kids in the Hall. The show airs on the Independent Film Channel, which I either don't get or have never noticed. Anyway, they just got renewed for a third season, which starts in February of 09. Thus, I'm anxiously awaiting Season 2 on DVD.

I'm not sure how else to review this since I can't exactly go sketch by sketch. I will say that nothing seems to be off limits. Some jokes are long and drawn out, some are shot and quick. Some are easily predicted, while some come out of left field. They do abstract stuff, as well as the straight forward jokes. They do songs, but they do them as music videos which adds to the humor. Think Dave Chappelle's "I Wanna Pee on You".

The actors themselves are great and deliver their lines with about as much enthusiasm as one can. No "weak links" are obvious in terms of second tier cast members.

Highly recommended.

9 out of 10. (Disc 2 is a bit weaker than Disc 1)
