For some reason, our PBS station is playing this. Wow; haven't watched this since I was a kid, stuck at my grandparents' house with nothing to do.

Man, is this a show about stuff white people people like, or what? Hey, here's a token black guy tap-dancing!

Didn't remember that all the musicians were really pantomiming.

It's like visiting a foreign country.

Had to be some of the most boring, bland, beige, banal TV ever recorded on film. There's educational filmstrips more entertaining than Larry fuckin' Welk.

I can't remember Welk not being on PBS on Sundays around here.

Well maybe some of it was mom and dad watching it live. But i remember PBS for some time. I would have to be drinking to watch it for more than 10 seconds.
