Ultraviolet - *No spoilers*

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Leeloo is going to kick much ass.

The movie has a pretty good probability of being as bad as Resident Evil II, but it's still Milla, so I'm going to enjoy it nonetheless.

I get an "Alias" feel with her wardrobe.

Total and complete ass. Uses more CGI than all three Star Wars prequels combined.

The whole story is about a virus that turns people into a new set of humans that resemble vampires. The government spends its time trying to hunt them down and kill them. Milla is a vampire intent on getting control of a new super weapon that could wipe out all the vampires.

Poorly written. Poorly acted. Poorly directed. Horrible effects. Action that is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too over the top and by far the most unbelieveable action ever put on film.

To add insult to injury, Milla gets naked, but shows nothing.

Avoid it. It's honestly not worth a rental.

2 out of 10.

Ed Wood quality at John Woo prices

1 star, for the nice colors

As an example of the quality, the first scene has the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers dressed in black infiltrating a government bloodbank. Then it gets worse from there.

My wife bought it for me, along with both Resident Evil flics.

Interesting story idea, but poorly executed.
Bad acting.
Bad dialog/writing.
Overuse of CGI.

I imagine some old executive wanted to make a, "John Woo does Alias" movie, and believed the his genius interpretation of the world could only manifest itself in CGI.

When writing a TV script they have a saying, "If you show a gun in Act 1 you must use it by Act 3." There was so much unnecessary crap that I assume they were trying to add stuff so that the comic book readers could feel satisfied.

That is, I *assume* this was a poor adaptation of a comic book. It had better be.

While the movie was TERRIBLE, Milla Jovovish has an exposed midriff in almost every scene. That ads three points to my score.

I thought, "I want to put a baby in there" about twelve times.

I give it a 6/10.

Had they not jerked me around with the nudity scene that they never showed, it would have been at least an 8/10.

Finally caught this abysmal piece of cinematic shyte.

Wow. I can't believe this is the same dude that brought us "Equilibrium." He took everything cool about that movie & made it worse in spite of the fact he had tens of millions of dollars more to work w\. Even Toombs couldn't salvage this.

The action sequences remind me of what would happen if you had them choreographed by a ten year-old Chinese kid fed nothing but a diet of sugar & caffeine. The plot is irrelevant & seems to morph as the insane screenplay needs it to (which is usually just an excuse to set Milla up for a one v. billion opponents battle). Seriously, Imperial Storm Troopers & the pistol-packing zombies from Doom have more coordinated group tactics.
