Even into the first few moments of the trailer I was thinking it was a spoof on the game. I'm still not convinced it isn't despite the claim it isn't.

When they panned down into the first pit, my brain forced the spikes to be scorpion tails first. And I was also expecting a jumping across alligators scene.
