Yeah, it's been a dream of my wife's to go, and I was ready to blow like $30k on this trip (housing, tickets, etc). And.... a) that was not enough and b) we couldn't have gotten what we wanted anyway

Seriously though, it really is a statement about our society when the Olympics basically outprice the overwhelming majority of Americans. Not to mention that you know resellers probably bought up a ton of those tickets.
