You know how it's illegal for the USA to spy on their own citizens, without suspicion and a warrant?
Guess what: the USA and Britain give "access" to the data of the other nation, we spy, we scan, and then we swap the relevant info back.
The USA isn't spying on Americans, the English are. And then the English are only giving interesting reports to friends in America.
