Nicholas Holt is Renfield to Nic Cage's Dracula.
They're in the modern world after centuries and Renfield is starting to have regrets. He tries finding bad people to feed Dracula. Kind of like a Dexter caterer. Eventually, this puts him into the path of a large drug cartel and the one good cop in the city not on the take. Meanwhile, Dracula starts getting delusions of grandeur.
It's a bit silly because Renfield is given a lot of Dracula's powers through eating bugs. This results in a lot of really, really bloody action scenes. I would term this an action comedy with loads of gore.
Had this done better, it's not implausible to see how a sequel could be made.
A fun little film if you don't take it too seriously.

Would have sworn I reviewed this one already.
Having a hard time remembering much about it.

I would have sworn you did too. I searched, but found nothing.
