Based on the linked Mad TV skit, what is the appeal of this show? (House, not Mad TV) It looks really stupid.
I believe I just saw some of the admitted House fans bitching about other shows that got repetitive, so why is it ok for House to do so. I'm very curious.
Is House "must see"? Or is it just a good character that compels you to tune in despite weak writing?

Heard House being discussed on the radio a few months ago. It's a modern day Sherlock Holmes. Even down to his apartment number. Both are drug addicts. Both are more interested in solving the mystery than they are about the victims.
Hadn't thought about it before, but they're right. It was lifted right from that template.
