Making him a liar too. He promised multiple times to every recruit, to the fans, to the team, to the school, etc. that he wasn't leaving after the last two off seasons almost leaving for the NFL. He doesn't care about the program. He doesn't care about the kids. They were a stepping stone. That's why he doesn't give two shits about cheating. He sees Pete Carroll in Seattle and how nobody brings up that a lot of his wins and his title (right?) were vacated.

So he's a lying, booger eating piece of human refuse.

9 Bama players enter the portal.

Loads of rumors out of OSU that Frye's contract has not been renewed yet. If OSU looks to make a change there, I wonder if the new OL coach would make a hard play to grab those two starters from Bama's OL? Are they any good?

I have no idea what you're going on about.

Oh, he 'committed'. Then it's a sure thing. . . Just reiterating, committing means nothing anymore.

Ah. Yeah, I agree commits don't mean shit these days, but this is a portal transfer. He's a SR with one year of eligibility remaining. He chose this over staying at K St or going to the NFL. He wants to improve his game, his draft stock, and compete for a national title on a big stage. Highly unlikely he backs out since barring them getting to the national title game he won't have eligibility left one year from today.

Their starting Center committed to OSU today.

OSU's O line needs all the help it can get.

I don't think you watched OSU in the bowl game.

All OSU has to do is train their QB to be ready for snaps at random times to random locations.

Maybe they should hire Mister Miyagi?

If he still has years of eligibility, it could be a good call.

I'd rather we fire/hire ineffective coaches and bring in new players than develop a massive cheating program.

My son came up with a good conspiracy. I told him how OSU fired their coach and pulled themselves out of bowl games. Not for cheating, but because some players got some free tattoos. He said "You have to wonder what else they were doing that they didn't want people to find through investigations to do all that over a few tattoos". "No need to look here! We'll do all this stuff and we'll call it good, yes?"

He does have a point. . .

That would be a good point except that's not how it works.

Teams self-punish to beat the NCAA to the punch for discipline, hoping it's enough. The NCAA doesn't end their investigation at that point. They still fully investigate.

Also, the tattoos weren't free. The players sold/traded stuff they had received from the university in exchange for the tattoos. Tress tried to squash it rather than report it and have the kids' careers hurt. That's why he was fired.

In other news, OSU got a new RB today
