Well. One problem. I've never heard of this movie.

The only ads for it I've seen have been during sports.
This is the final DC movie that is still in the Synderverse, so in terms of canon, it's meaningless. Also, WB sided with Amber Heard when the Depp stuff broke and was stuck with her after the trial revealed she was the monster, not him. That led to a pretty large chunk of the fanbase saying they would never pay to watch this movie.

She really shit on this movie, too! Heyo.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023)
It wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, but it was mostly shit.
The story is all about Black Manta seeking revenge on Aquaman. He seeks out some unobtainium (it might as well be) to do so and ends up finding a trident that taps into an ancient, unstoppable evil (that's totes stoppable). Meanwhile, Aquaman's story has him in a buddy cop movie with Patrick Wilson, who plays his brother from another father.
There are some ok action pieces and a couple of chuckles, but they're few and far between.
Add in that this movie was a lame duck to a dead multiverse of movies before it ever hit theaters and that Amber Heard was kept in it despite being found guilty of abusing her husband, taking a dump in his bed, and then running a very public campaign to gaslight him as the abuser, and this movie is even worse.
You never need to this this movie.
Also, I know I liked Momoa in this role previously, but I think I'm over that. He was a bad casting choice. Yes, he has done a great job, but he never truly fit the role. They should have gone after Gosling or Gyllenhaal. Momoa should have been Lobo. He looks and acts perfectly for that role. Apparently, James Gunn agrees.
